3. Visit the developer's previous projects and speak to customers who have already received units.
4. Read the contract carefully: delivery dates, penalties, actual area and finishing specifications.
5. Compare payment plans and look at the total you will pay, not just the instalment.
6. Request a viewing and the floor plans; check orientation, views and nearby services.
7. Keep copies of all documents and receipts, and consult a lawyer before signing.
